The owners of this small Greek Revival looked to restore some of its original character, to add spaces to allow for more enjoyment of the outdoors, and to rework the floor plan to increase the functionality of some utilitarian spaces. A tired sunroom concealing the front of the house was removed and replaced with a tasteful portico providing a much needed face-lift. A large screen porch was added off the back of the house and an adjacent covered porch. An underused bedroom was used to relocate the bathroom and laundry allowing a new mudroom off the porch to be added. The tight kitchen and dining spaces were also expanded and opened to the expansive screen porch.
